Okay just joking. This won't be just about the hair hahaha. I haven't seen the movie, just parts of it. I think Lindsay is cute in some of the scenes. I love her long white dress. I'm very disappointed with her these days, but I can't say she sucks at acting. I just miss the "old" Lindsay.
And I miss Murtagh. Garrett looks like some unknown member of the Hanson brothers, a bit less girly then in Troy, but still feminine and slightly silly. ^^

Hanson, you mean this boyband of the 90s? Hahaaa, that' s cool, XD
But you are right, the hait in GR is not that good... but the complete character Harlan is no good, so it fits, XD

Harlan and his hair are freakin gorgeous. Oh, and Hanson all cut their hair. They still play, but now they're an indie band who do mostly small club shows. They're actually very talented guys. And when they DID have long hair, it was cute! So I'm immune to your calling Harlan a Hanson!

I thought Harlan was funny in GR. I didn't realize how "religious" he was in the previews. And how he was determined that they never kissed!!! But I admit that I wasn't very fond of his hair in the movie. I love his hair in general, but I don't know...I missed the first thirty minutes because I was at work when it started.

I went to see it with my sister and my mom, also on opening night. I wasn't embarrassed watching the "racy" scenes with my mom, because she's cool like that, but my sister was embarrassed because we were sitting right behind these three old ladies. When she mentioned this on the way home, my mom was like "Oh please - they've done it!" LOL

Haven't seen it yet. But I registered to YouTube just to be able to see that "boat scene".
Don't know when it's opnening in Germany, September or something, I guess.
I admit I don't know yet if I'll got to see it. I don't know. I think I haven't seen a movie with Lohan, but somehow what you hear about her makes me dislike her. And that boat scene (yeah, I know it's her role) made me so angry. I can just figure out how the movies going on: it turns out that she's not so bad at all, but deep inside she really cares about people, Harlan loves her, gives uo his Jupiter/Juniper for her, make everyone angry, etc. but then, she's really such a good girl when you get to know her better.......bla bla. Am I right?
Hey, I really like the hair. Long hair is good!

Am I right? Hm, well (SPOILERS!!), she's really not a good girl and doesn't really care about people that much, but she loves her mom, and is basically likable. Harlan thinks he loves her, but really just wants her to love him, because she's glamorous and exciting. He's willing to give up Jupiter (lol), and she'll probably dump him anyway when she finds out he's been hanging with Rachel again. Rachel has no interest in being a Mormon wife, and that probably won't change, so she'll probably wind up with Simon, the sexy older man who is her mom's ex (unless mom winds up with him - more drama!). Why is Simon the one? He told her "no." Harlan ultimately didn't. That was what she was really looking for.

Ah, thanks. Well, perhaps I'll watch it if it ever gets shown in Germany.
I'll tell you a little secret: I'm actually half-mormon. In theory. And a cousin of mine did go on a mission.

It's funny how the only tread so far in the GR part is about his hair lol
Oh what exactly is a mormon? I know that much that it means you wait with sex before after marraige? But what else? What mission? lol

One of my best friends in junior high was Mormon. She wasn't a goody-goody or anything, she was pretty crazy actually, lol. The only thing that seemed odd to me at that age was that they couldn't drink Coke or Pepsi (no caffiene). She did anyway, behind her parents' back, all the time, and she swore like a sailor, too, lol. Anyway, I moved in 8th grade, and we didn't really stay in touch, but I did hear that she did stay with the church and did her mission.
scatha, Mormon is a religion founded in America in the 1800s... the Latter-Day Saints. It is Christian-based, but very different... they have their own book, their own prophet, they worship Jesus, but differently than other Christian religions. It's strict - no alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, profanity, premarital sex, etc, and men (and nowadays women) are expected to go on missions in their early 20s. It's usually kind of like a religious-based Peace Corps thing... they often go to poor countries, but not always, you'll see them in big US cities, too, prosletyzing and doing community service.
